Mechanical Engineer
Role and Responsibilities

Reviews application requirements
for proper product selection.

Understand and configure
single/multi loop controllers.
-
Recommend, specify and configure
various instruments (flow, pressure, temperature
humidity, etc.) and control valves focusing on TAC
product lines.

Knowledge of "tuning loops,"
along with basic ability to work with testing
equipment (such as volt meters).

Accompany Dominion Energy
Management sales personnel on sales calls.
-
Maintain records of all programs
and documentation pertaining to a customer or
projects at Dominion Energy Management.
-
Work as required to meet customer
dead lines or expectations.
-
Seek other opportunities for
Dominion Energy Management product lines while at
customers and report back to sales.
-
Provide weekly reports on time
spent, billable versus non-billable.
-
Ability to develop Bill of
Material (BOM), submittals, Sequence of Operation
(SOP), and estimated engineering hours.
-
Must be able to develop and
present customer technical training seminars.
-
Ability to work with minimal
direction.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
-
Engineering/related college
degree.
-
Knowledge of computer networking
architectures, topologies and hardware.
-
Ability to work with Microsoft
Office programs including Outlook, Excel, Word and
Power Point.
CAD or Visio programming experience.

Basic knowledge in computer
programming, database design, automated reporting
tools.

Demonstrated organizational
skills and attention to detail.
-
Excellent communication skills
including speaking, reading and writing in English
language.

Ability to prioritize work and
perform multiple tasks.
