HVAC Control Technician
Role and Responsibilities
·
Responsible for device testing (end-to-end), program downloading,
equipment start-up and
operations.
·
Hardware and software installations at customer sites.
·
Diagnose and repair HVAC controls systems at customer locations.
·
Document
work performed by
completing necessary paperwork on each job to include: daily
time entry, progression and maintain electronic database
for
Inventory parts, materials and labor.
·
Perform preventive maintenance, modifications and repairs as
outlined contractually.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
·
Possess an Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college
or technical school.
·
Field experience or an equivalent combination of education and
experience is acceptable.
·
Knowledge of HVAC systems a plus.
·
Must be reliable and work efficiently by his or herself on a daily
basis.
Preferred Skills
·
Knowledge of HVAC systems design, calibration, and repair.
·
Troubleshooting skills: Ability to troubleshoot and rectify
problems.
·
Computer knowledge: Ability and interest to work with different
computer systems.
Key Requirements
·
Regular and supervisory probation period required, if applicable.
·
Random drug testing required.
·
Appointment to this position may require a background investigation.
·
Clean driving record required.
